The Camry is definitely evolutionary—not revolutionary—in the styling department, and it appears to maintain the same greenhouse as the outgoing car. The headlights have been toughened up and are much more angular than the current car’s, and the rear-end treatment appears to ape that of the Subaru Legacy with its L-shaped taillights. While we aren’t prepared to declare that the 2012 Camry has shed its nameplate’s typical wallflowery-ness, it does seem to carry a restrained handsomeness—something the outgoing car distinctly lacks—courtesy of its newly hardened edges.
